S.S.C.E Requirements

The current approved entry requirement is five (5) O’level credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings from any of the following:

· West African Examination Council (WAEC),

· National Examination Council (NECO)

· National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB)

 

Any student with foreign examination board result(s) is expected to submit an evaluation report or equivalent grading from the Federal Ministry of Education along with the result. A request for the verification of such results from the issuing organization to the Council is required.

U.T.M.E Requirements.

There must be a good combination of subjects in UTME, such as English language, Chemistry, Biology  and other science subject

 

Direct Entry Students Requirements.

Candidates seeking admission by direct entry into 200 level Botany programme, must have advanced Level passes in at least two of the following: Mathematics and other from subject science or social science, in addition to credit level passes in five of the subjects listed above at the SSCE or its equivalents. Candidates with ND and approved equivalents in relevant fields with at least a lower credit may be considered for direct entry into the programme.
